A full-stack web developer is a web developer that is skilled in both the back-end and front-end, having capabilities to design and develop the entire website. A full-stack web developer is responsible for both the front end (client-side) and the back end (server-side) of an application. Highly valued for their versatility, most companies require full-stack developers to have a working knowledge of web markup languages, server scripting languages such as Python or Ruby, and host operating systems such as Linux or Windows.
