Roles and Responsibilities Of Web Developer

Web Developer:
A web developer is a programmer who uses a variety of languages and writes lines of code to build a website or a web application. It is a very difficult job because a web developer knows many languages like JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Python, PHP, etc. The role and responsibilities of a web developer are to build and maintain websites with users and users in mind. This means that the finished design includes the products/services offered and shows the way to access them. For example, a user may need a form to get a visitor's email address so they can find out more information, give a newsletter, or thank a user for doing business with them.
Overview:
A back-end developer is a type of developer that focuses on creating back-ends. The role and responsibilities of a back-end web developer are to manage databases and the back-end of the website or web app. Another type, front-end developer, focuses on the client site to give the site more style and functionality. The role and responsibilities of a front-end web developer are to creating UI design of the website or web app. In general, the work is very focused on each project, involving working with a team that helps align the client's needs with the final product. There may be meetings with clients at work to discuss what they want and need for their website, or to discuss how to keep it up-to-date and work effectively. Typically, web developers create website layouts, which produce visually adaptable homepages, user-friendly designs, and sometimes useful content for visitors. Once a website is activated, a developer notices that the site works well on all browsers, checking screen size/resolution and doing whatever it needs to do.
What Does Web Developer Know?
Web developers know a great deal about technology and how computers and web servers work. They are well versed in software programs, web applications, and web programming languages such as JavaScript (JS), HTML, C ++, and Ruby on Rails. They should be able to communicate well, set goals and meet target dates. So, this was the overview of the role and responsibilities of the web developer. Now let's move on to different types of web developers.
Web Developer Types:
There are three types of web developers.
- Front-End Developers
- Back-End Developer
- Full-Stack Developer
(1) Front-End Developers:
This type of web developer codes the front end of the site. Web design refers to what a website looks like, but front-end development is a means of implementing that design on the web.
Technologies Used By Front-End Developers:
There are different technologies that front-end developers used some of them are given below.
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- Bootstrap
- Vue.Js
- AngularJS
These are some front-end technologies that front-end developers used to make the design or front-end of web applications, or websites.
Roles And Responsibilities Of Front End Developer:
The role and responsibilities of the front-end developer are to create the UI design of the websites or web apps. Generally, front-end developers work on the client-side of the web apps or websites. The responsibilities of front-end developers include managing the design so, the design should be user-friendly and responsive.
(2) Back-End Developer:
The role and responsibilities of the back-end web developers are to design and maintain the technology required to power these components so that the user side of the site is possible. Back-end code gives functionality to everything created by the front-end developer.
Technologies Used By Back-End Developers:
Back-End web developers used different technologies including different databases some of them are given.
- Django
- Ruby On Rails
- Laravel
- Express.js
- Flask
- ASP.NET
- Meteor
Databases:
- Oracle
- MySQL
- Microsoft SQL
- MongoDB
Role And Responsibilities Of Back-end Developer:
The role and responsibilities of the back-end developer are to manage the back-end of the websites or web apps. The role of the back-end developer is more crucial because they work on the server-side of the application. More generally they work on the core of the application.
(3) Full Stack Developer:
Such developers know how all the parts of the web development process come together and can provide guidance when it comes to strategy and best practices. Full-stack developers will definitely have an even more important role to play in the future of web development and will have the ability to see the "big picture". They are familiar with both the server-side and client-side user experiences.
Role And Responsibilities Of Full Stack Developers:
The role and responsibilities of a full-stack developer are much more than a front-end or back-end developer. They must know how to design and then develop a website or web app. The role of a full stack developer is to manage both front-end mean client-side and back-end mean server-side. Some responsibilities of full-stack developers are.
- Develop Front-End Architecture of a website or web app.
- Full Stack Developers should make interaction for users on web pages.
- It should do the back-end of a website.
- Make servers and databases for websites.
